Get to know the Cross Country Medical Plan (CCMP)!
The Cross Country Medical Plan (CCMP) is available to our Health Insurance customers in Suriname and Guyana who will be travelling between these two countries, whether from Suriname to Guyana or from Guyana to Suriname, for a family visit, business trip or leisure. With the Cross Country Medical Plan (CCMP), our customers have access to medical care during their stay in Guyana or Suriname at Preferred CCMP healthcare providers. Their existing Health Insurance travels with them under the same terms, conditions and coverage limits, without any additional premium.
What is needed?
✚ Health Insurance medical card
✚ SOB (Schedule of Benefits)
✚ Valid identification
What is a Schedule of Benefits?
A document that provides an overview of the current coverage, including the applicable terms, conditions and coverage limits. A Schedule of Benefits (SOB) can be requested at an Assuria office. Processing takes 3-7 business days.
⏰ The SOB is valid for 1 (one) month.
GOOD TO KNOW:
✚ Before the SOB expires, our customers can request an extension from Assuria for up to 6 months.
✚ Treatments that exceed the applicable coverage limit require additional approval from Assuria.
